Mr. Imhof comes to West Essex after 23 years as a music teacher. His most recent position was with the Hackettstown School District, where he directed the high school bands from 1993 – 2001 and the middle school bands from 2001 – 2006. He has also served as student council advisor and helped develop the character education program in Hackettstown. Mr. Imhof holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education from William Paterson College, a Masters degree in Music Education from Ithaca College, and a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Centenary College. He resides in Warren County and enjoys numerous outdoor activities, vacationing in Downeast Maine, and New Jersey Devils ice hockey. Mr. Imhof remains active as a freelance trombonist throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
